The Secret Crafter:

This is my entry for The Secret Crafter saturday challenge. Jill Anderson made a lovely layout and I used it for this card. Only I rotated it 90 degrees because I wanted to use sitting Tilda and I thought this looked better. The twist was to use the colors pink, brown and white.

I went with Basic Grey. I had these dessin papers for ages and now was the chance to use them. I think it's a lovely autumn birthday card! (gefeliciteerd = happy birthday)

Three ATC

Tonight I amused myself with Magnolia and Alcohol Ink again. But this time I made 3 ATC's with the Magnolia kids. I found some Alcohol Ink techniques on Dan's blog. Go check out his awesome video tutorials! These are to be my entry for This Thursday's challenge nr 20.
Anyway, I used all the things shown in his tutorials and came up with these ATC.

First: dabbing AI on background:

Second: AI on craftsheet and placing glossy paper in it, swirling a little:

Third: few drops of AI forming a line on the felt. Making stripes with it:

Dan explains it all on his blog. If you want to know exactly what I did, go look at his video's. He explains it better than I ever could!

Challenge: Crazy Amigo

Husband away squashing, kids playing with the Wii and here is ME-time! Crazy Amigo's challenge is: buttons. I got these lovely little buttons from Christa and they seem to fit in anywhere!

background: wrinkle free distress technique with Dried Marigold, Broken China and Worn Lipstick (yes the same as below!) Stickles crystal in between the buttons. Hmmm, so sweet, reminds me of the chocolate in the cupboard! This atc calls for tea and chocolate!

Challenges: TMTA, Created by Hand

Two challenges, one atc. Thats all I have time for today. unfortunately my collegue called in sick today so no playtime for me. But I managed to scraped enough free minutes in between patiënts and during lunch to finish this atc! How addicted am I...??!!
Think Monday, Think ATC: Staples.
Created by Hand: ribbons and trim.
Can you see the wind blowing and playing with the leaves? I had to staple the ribbon to the card, otherwise it would have blown away!

Think Monday, Think ATC: nietjes.
Created by Hand: lintjes en kant.

background: wrinklefree distress technique with distress ink: Broken China, Worn Lipstick and Dried Marigold. Stickles copper.
Leaves: punched and glued, diamond glaze glossy acents. White stripes with Ranger gelpen.

Harvest treasure box

I have made a little box for my daughters to keep some treasures they collected this fall. Anne and Elske go past an ancient chestnut tree every day on their way to school. Needless to say we are swimming in chestnuts in this season!

Little paper box, painted with paint dabber pearl, rubbed some distress Dried Marigold over it.
Corners: distress crackle paint with walnut stain rubbed in the cracks.
Stamps: tree and quote from Darkroom Door, child from Art Journey.
Inside box: dark orange colored Basic Grey paper
Quote: "May the tree of life bring you it's sweetest treasures - love, hope and dreams come true!"

This Thursday: Thrown a curve
