Cirkels - Circles

CASology heeft een uitdaging met cirkels. Ik had direkt mijn favoriete techniek in gedachten: masking. Met de voorjaarskleuren van distress inkt: shaded lilac, peacock feathers en squeezed lemonade, is het een vrolijke kaart geworden. Zeker met de bling steentjes in de juiste kleuren erbij!

CASology has a challenge with circles. I wanted to use my favorite technique for this challenge: masking. With the spring colors from the distress inks: shaded lilac, peacock feathers and squeezed lemon it became a very cheerful card. Luckily I had some gemstones in the right colors in my stash!

Shabby Chic

Een poging voor een kaart in "shabby chic" stijl. Ik ben niet helemaal zeker of het nou geslaagd is of niet maar het is in elk geval een leuke kaart geworden. Met kleuren die ik niet zo vaak gebruik: old paper, frayed burlap en een beetje gathered twigs. Mijn bijdrage voor de challenge op ABNH.

An attempt at a card in "shabby chic" style. I'm not really sure how well I succeeded but it's a fun card at least! With colors I do not use very much: old paper, frayed burlap and a bit of gathered twigs. My entry for ABNH.
