Transparant bewerking - Heating acetate

Yesterday I tried something completely different, I had been thinking about this for awhile. You can't emboss acetate because it curls and warps till there is nothing left. But what if you did that on purpose? You can see the results below. A simple card but I wanted to show the flower to you. I stamped it with StazOn on acetate and colored, on the other side, with alcohol inks. Then I used my heattool on it, véééééry carefully. The acetate curls towards the heat, so you have to turn the flower to achieve that wavy look. You should try it sometime!
Enjoy!

even the littlest comment is greatly appreciated!

I love this technique, Linda. It reminds me of some kit I had when I was a child, but I can't quite place it. Just a very vague memory. I love your idea and what you've done with it. I will have to try this some time. Thanks so much for sharing this. Have a wonderful weekend.

Linda this is so COOL!! I love the end result of your acetate "mistake" . I'll definitely be trying it as I have been doing some playing with acetate myself lately. It can be tricky to work with is what I am learning! I really enjoy all of your work and sure appreciate the sweet comments you always leave me!

I left this post of yours on the DIOL site, which is to give a link by which you get inspired.
