Distress Markers

Sometimes an idea pops into your mind and you just have try it. Mostly I do not succeed with these wild ideas, but today I did. This is probably not a new technique, but it is a nice one and super simple! All stamps from these cards are from the Hero Arts set Playful Flowers and Butterflies. The colors are all from distress markers, the lines as well as the stamps.
Lineaal elke streep iets verschuiven. Stickles glitter op de vlinder.
I selected and sorted the colors distress markers as I wanted to use them. With a ruler I made two straight lines with every color, moving the ruler after every stripe just a tiny bit. Stickles on the butterfly.
I made the lines with three green colors. Then masked the lines and stamped the leaf multiple times in the middle. Stickles on the flower.
I made a shape (free hand drawing) inspired by the shape of the shoes from this weeks Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger (see picture below). Carefully drew the lines with peeled paint, shabby shutters, broken china and faded jeans markers. And shifted the shape just a tiny bit every time. Stickles on butterfly.
Enjoy!

even the littlest comment is greatly appreciated!

These cards are all so amazing! Really love the effect you achieved by drawing lines with distress markers. My favorite is the green ribbon like one, it is just perfect!
