Tag 9: Winter Moments Forever

Tim Holtz lead me on a merry chase today! I have been all over my room to find supplies to fit his tag of today. In the end I only followed his general layout. Background is more or less the same in colors, just not a collage stamp but three text stamps: Friends, Family and Celebrate.

Personally I don't very much like those nostalgic photo's. Therefor I used a stamp of a praying girl from Art Journey It's almost as if the film shows us what the girl is parying for: Let it snow! Let the 25th coome quickly to Celebrate with Friends and Family!.

No filmstrips here. So I got to work making something like it. Black cardstock, an inchie punch and filmstripholes-punch. A little piece of mica and three inchie stamps from Inkadinkadoo became my substitute for Tim's filmstrip.

No metal numbers! But I did have a little piece of copperband. I pressed it flat and just cut a 2 and a 5 with the scissors. Attached them with matching fasteners and made a dent with hammer and nail.

Mijn dochter Elske.

My daughter Elske. Every time she sits with me in my craftroom and starts doing her thing. Using my supplies to make cards. She doesn't even notice I take a photo of her!
Thank you for visiting today and see you tomorrow!

This is a beautiful tag...and I've always preferred 'beautiful' to 'cute' or 'fun.' That's just me! Your choice of image is wonderful....and you just showed me that I can make my own film 'ribbon' because I have that punch, too!
