Compendium of Curiosities Challenge (CCC)

Today is the start of a GREAT challenge that will run for 35 weeks. Linda, from Studio L3, thought of a challenge based on the new book Compendium of Curiosities from Tim Holtz. She will pick a technique from the book and we can enter our view on it. Every monday for 35 weeks she will pick a random technique from the book. That's pure INSPIRATION!!

Here is my entry for this week. I had to practise a few times but I got it right in the end. I started with blending my absolute favourite distress ink color Victorian Velvet on the background. Then I blended Dusty Concord over the mask "musicnotes". The "ghost"butterflies were made with the water stamping technique of this week. I don't explain that because thats a requirement: no explaining, all the techniques are in Tims book!
The writing hand stamp is from Art Journey stamps "writing".

even the littlest comment is greatly appreciated!

Gorgeous Linda! At first I thought the music notes were water stamping, and I wondered how you got it to come out so perfect1 lol Then, I read your description. Beautiful! This is going to be too much fun!
