My Artroom

My workshop from right to left. My dad is great at solutions. He made all kinds of gadgets for me! On the right all the ribbons. Well not all, just the ones I use most! My dad made the holder on the wall.
I do not have that many mounted stamps, but I do like them at hand. I put them against the wall to protect the rubber from direct sunlight. Next to it, in the corner a metal tray with bits and pieces, embellishments, babytowel to wipe ink from stamps, masking paper, three dabbers etc etc.

In the middle an old herb rack my dad made for me when I got my very first student room. Now it's perfect for holding all the re-inker bottles, stickles, atc papers, gluedots, glue, alcohol inks, dimensional pearls. In front of it all the instruments I use when crafting. Knife, pincers, pens, scissors. Do you see the little wooden block with the minimsiters? My dad made that too when I pointed it out to him! Isn't he a darling?
On the left another metal tray with verious inks.

Mijn vader is geweldig!

And on the left all the inks. Mostly Distress inks from Ranger but also Versafine, Adirondacks, some stamps I work with at the moment and Fiskars cutting tool. The little table on the far left is for my daughters when they want to craft with me.

Today I busied myself with indexing all the clearstamps. I keep them in CD holders. I printed the names and cut it out on smalle strips. Then glued everything in the appropriate CD-holder. In the proces I encountered some stamps I had forgotten. Isn't that nice!

When my dad was here last time we discussed putting up some shelves for all the stuff in the metal trays. He promised he would think about it. Now I know, when I least expect it, he will call and come over! And he will have the perfect solution for all the bits and pieces in the metal trays! You should know: my dad is my hero and will be 79yo come December!
